I met Kathleen many years ago at tai chi classes taught at the Kiwanis Seniors’ Centre. She was a lovely, gracious lady, always pleasant and kind.
We spoke of England often, as we had a Kent connection.
Please accept my sincere condolences on her passing.
I would like to express my sincere condolences to Stephen and Liz for your loss. Kathleen and I worked together for many years at WOTCH Community and I have fond memories of her. She’s unforgettable.
I was so sorry to hear about Kathleen. I have so many fond memories of her, including a fantastic lunch at her place not too long ago. My condolences to her family.
Kathleen has been an inspiration to me since we met in a creative writing course many years ago. A number of us have continued to meet and share writing ever since. Kathleen was a talented poet, with a keen sense of curiosity and an always lively mind. Kindness personified, her general knowledge was remarkably extensive. She was always game to try new things – one example was when she decided to learn to play the mouth organ a few years ago! Her courage, sense of humour and unfailing enthusiasm for life filled me with admiration.
Liz, Greg, Steven and Rosa – please accept Bryan’s and my deep sympathy. You are in our thoughts and hearts. Kathleen will be greatly missed.

Kathleen moved in to her apartment the same day Tony and I moved in next door and we formed a great friendship.

Kathleen was my colleague for over 25 years, and my supervisor for most of that time. She was lovely, kind, smart and had a fun sense of humour. We were enriched with her guidance and enthusiasm; she even lead an exercise class for a few of us women! She and Paul loved birds and nature. She often spoke of family and was SO proud of her two kids. Liz (Greg), Stephen (Rosa), and Pamela, may I pass on my sincere condolences for your loss. – It was so good to see her at a friend’s party last year and I’m so sorry we’ll not meet again. Her lovely smile and sparkle will not be forgotten!
