Margaret Ervasti
Obituary
ERVASTI, Magaret…..
On March 29, 2021 after a short and very courageous bout with cancer, Margaret Anne Ervasti (Meyers) passed away peacefully at St. Joseph Hospice, London. Margaret was born in London in 1953 to Roy and Alma Meyers. She was a lover of the outdoors, and spent many hours hiking with her husband of 40+ years, Thomas Edward Ervasti. She was also an avid Blue Jays fan. Margaret was a dedicated 40-year Management employee at The Bank of Montreal and helped many people in her various branch postings around the London area. She is sadly and very greatly missed by her husband, Thomas, and his family. She was close to her sister, Lynda, and her husband, Wayne Buck, of New Hamburg. Margaret greatly enjoyed visits with Lynda’s and Wayne’s sons, daughter, and their children. There will not be a funeral, and cremation has occurred. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph Hospice, 485 Windermere Road, P.O. Box 1449, Station B, London ON N6A 5M2 and The Canadian Cancer Society P.O Box 640 STN K, Toronto ON M4P 9Z9, are appreciated. Arrangements entrusted with Cremation London & Middlesex, 519-858-2467. My deepest sympathies to Tom and family. I worked with Margaret at BMO and kept in touch with her at BMO Komoka in her last position. She was a wonderful lady.
Marg was my boss and a very good one ,always full of fun.
We often discussed current movies and we were both fans of Ben Stiller.
After all these years I am still regularly making the blueberry/cranberry yogurt muffin recipe she entered into our Bank Of Montreal Cookbook. My family love them.
She will be missed by many.
My deepest sympathy to Tom, Lynda, Wayne and family. I will forever miss my fellow Blue Jays fan.
I was very sad to hear of Margaret’s passing. My sister and I were good friends with Margaret during our teenage years. She was always ready for fun and had a great imagination. I will remember her with affection. Sincere condolences to Tom, Linda and the family. John 3:16.
I was so saddened to read about Margaret’s passing. Margaret was a classmate of mine for four years at St. George’s public school and we spent many hours together outside of school. Margaret’s dad would often take my sister Sue, Margaret and I out to a friend’s farm or picking wild strawberries. We spent many hours in her kitchen on Woodward Ave. sketching and laughing and talking about all the usual pre-teen fun things. I know she will be sadly missed . Please know that my thoughts are with all of you.
Thomas & family. We are truly sorry for your loss. We would like to offer you and your family our deepest & sincere condolences. May Margaret’s beautiful soul rest in peace.
Sending love Boyd & Cathy.
Dear Tom and family, My heart goes out to you during these sad times. We had fun times during our Western geography days, in the cartography lab, on field trips and at Party Room paties. We will miss you and hope that you are at peace. Your classmates Robert and Peggy, in spirit.
