Obituary
LAUR, Ross…
After a brief illness with cancer, we lost our beloved Ross at home on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the age of 75 surrounded by his loving family. Loving husband of Linda for 56 years. Cherished father of Deb (Rob) Holland and Janis (Joe) Johnson. Paa of Tyler, Austin, Abbey and Olivia. Great-grandfather of Jameson and Hendrix. Step-grandfather of Harper and Hailey. Brother of Jen (Ed) Kish. Predeceased by mother Grace and father Leonard, grandson Robert, and his siblings Steve, Dave, Donna and Dale. Fondly remembered by Mike and Steph and many nieces and nephews. Ross was a dedicated employee of Ford where he retired after 31 years of service. He had a love for fishing and enjoyed his many trips north with his fishing buddies. In his retirement he found a new love for puzzles and Sudoku. Cremation has taken place and at Ross’ wishes, no service will be held, but we ask that you “cheers” with your family with a Rye and Coke for Ross. In his memory, donations may be made to the London Regional Cancer Program, c/o London Health Sciences Foundation, 747 Base Line Road East, London, ON N6C 2R6. Arrangements entrusted with Cremation London & Middlesex, 519-858-2467. Online condolences shared at www.cremationlondon.com
John and I were so happy to have spent some time with Ross and his family. We did enjoy a couple of those Christmas drinks with him. We also enjoyed his company and I was always happy to walk out the door with a couple of his puzzles that he shared with me. He will be greatly missed by the people that love him and now have to learn to live without him. May his soul Rest In Peace and condolences to all his family and friends. A heart with love sent to his wife Linda. . ❤️
Our next door neighbour (since 1992) Ross who was always there to help at any time. Your carpentry skills helped us out many times and we still use the items you built us.
We started off knowing each other with sitting outside Friday nights after work having a few cocktails. Then we moved to Saturday night card games.
You and Lin included us into your circle of friends where we had some great times and after much pestering we finally made it to Nine Mile Lake. Your family has become part of our family — we’ve watched your Grandchildren grow up into beautiful human beings.
We’ve missed you the past few years but lovely Linda would always drop by and keep us up to date.
Rest in Peace Ross and we hope there’s fishing wherever you are.

We’ve always loved the opportunities we’ve had to spend time with our combined families and will greatly miss Ross at birthdays and family get togethers. I’ve loved watching through the years as Ross taught my brother Rob to be a handy man and I’m grateful to have been able to take advantage of some of those skills that he shared. Loved watching him with his grandsons throughout the years and especially the summer that we all vacationed together and Ross took all the boys fishing on his boat. Oh how they all loved that!
My deepest condolence to you and your family Janis. Thinking of you in this difficult time.
