“I once had something special that money couldn’t buy, I had a special person but I had to say goodbye. If I were asked one question, why I thought the world of you, I could give a million answers and they all would be true. The heart ache and the sadness may not show. People say it lessens but little do they know. Meet me in my dreams and talk to me once more and ease this everlasting pain that makes my heart so sore. The road without you is so long, a tear for every mile, but I know one day when I reach the end, you will be waiting for me with a smile.” -Unknown
George was a gentle giant and he will be missed. You are all in our thoughts and prayers 🙏
Uncle George, growing up I saw you as a supportive father to my cousins, and loving husband to my Aunt Sis. I knew I was always welcomed in your home. I know you will be terribly missed. May you rest in peace.
Dad,
There is a vast emptiness in this world without you in it, and the silence of your presence is unbearable at times.
Thank you for all of the years of unconditional love, support and strength. I am so very proud to say that you are my father.
You were the cornerstone of this family and you will be missed dearly.
I will treasure the many years of memories for all of eternity.
Love,
Leesa
Sending our condolences to Evelyn and family on the passing of George
He was a great man
Loved by many
Thinking of you all
To my wonderful husband, my love, we have walked down many roads together and we’ve shared our whole lives together, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. You gave me strength and courage when I needed it the most. You always had faith in me even when I didn’t have faith in myself. You know my love, this last walk has been the hardest, but I know we will be together again. Before you slipped away you gave me the best gift you could ever have given, your beautiful words; I’ll keep those words and the memories until we are reunited. So for now, my love, we must part, but our hearts will always be tied together. Remember what we wrote in our wedding rings; we will never really be apart.
I love you forever.
Evelyn
My Dearest Pop
Thank you so much for all the years of love and lessons you gave me. You were truly an amazing person and I am grateful to know your spirit is always with us.
I love so much you Pop xoxo
Pop,
Everyone who knew you, will sorely miss you and remember you forever. Things that remind me of Pop: woodstoves, sawdust, an autoshop, fishing, fish and chips and any piles of wood that could be taken home in the back of a pickup truck.
My sincere Condolences to my dear cousin Evelyn with the loss of her dear husband George, and to their children with the loss of their father, grandfather, great grandfather.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, cousin Louise
