Very sorry for the loss of Chas. Condolences to his Son, Family and Friends.
Well you fought a good hard battle. Your strength and courage through it all was so admirable. I was so glad we stayed great friends after our marriage ended. We had a lot of great times together over the last 40 years. Thank-you for being there for Luke. I am so proud of him and I know you were too. He will carry on with your British influence and will always be proud of his father’s British heritage. You will be deeply missed by me and all of my family. Everyone always loved you Chas. You were a kind gentle person. Rest in peace.
Although we never got to meet you, we cannot thank you enough for giving us the gift of your son for our daughter. We know that you fought a hard, rough battle. May you rest in peace. Your son will do you proud. Our sincere condolences to you and your family.
Hey mate
Things I’m going to miss:
Food – scotch eggs, sausage rolls, curry, pico de galore, and scotch eggs. (I know I said that twice)
Soccer – all the world cup and euro cup games we watched with you yelling how shite England was even when they won.
Your friendship (enough said).
You will be missed by all.
Enjoy heaven with your family and friends
Hey mate.
Things I’m going to miss.
Food – scotch eggs, currys, sausage rolls and your pico de Gallo.
Soccer – watching euro cup and world cup beside you with you yelling at the refs and players.
Friendship – enough said.
You will be missed a lot.

So sorry to hear of Chas passing away. We were childhood friends from infant, junior and senior school. We joined the Scouts together which was a fantastic experience. Still remember the Scout trip to Switzerland which Chas had recorded on Cine film. We did socialise together in our late teens, he was my best man at our wedding.
I well remember our trip to see Chas, Anna, Michelle and Andrew in 1980’s, we had a great experience see the sights. I’m sad that I haven’t kept in touch in the last 30 years, not Chas’s fault just a conflict of life.
I got to know Chas through scouts . Tho a couple of years older he had time for a chat . We met up a couple of years ago when he came to the U K . R I P mate
Deeply saddened by this news. I was in the 7th Coventry scouts with Chas and shared brilliant summer camps in Woolacombe, Devon in 1964 &1965. Also great times in gang shows and camping trips at Rough Close. Saw Chas at a Longford Park school reunion at Coventry Housing Club organised by his sister and in 2013 met up in the Wheel pub in Coventry for few beers with Chas & Moz O’Keefe. A few years ago Chas found his old scout shirt but couldn’t find his neckerchief. I sent him one and an old leather belt, some lanyards & other bits & bobs so he could put them in a frame. Sleep tight Chas
Sad to hear of Chas’s passing. Our sincere condolences to both his families. We shared many happy times in Canada for many years.
Marlene and family,
I am sorry to have read that Chas has passed. My condolences to all of the family, I am thinking of you.
