Obituary
DENSMORE, Darrell…
Peacefully with his wife and son by his side on Monday, October 5, 2026, Darrell Densmore passed away at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Nancy (Hawthorne) Densmore for 43 years. Proud and Loving father of Adam Densmore. Loving Grandpa of Myles, Oliver, and Elodie. Dear brother of Donna Densmore and brother-in-law of Bonnie, Carol, and Mary (Chris). Predeceased by his brothers David and Del. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews. Darrell had an incredible eye for design and a natural sense of style, always dressing with impeccable taste. His quick wit, sense of humour, and signature sarcasm were a big part of who he was and often brought laughter to those around him. Beneath it all, he had an enormous heart, especially when it came to the people he loved. He was fiercely loyal, deeply loving, and cared wholeheartedly for those closest to him. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to London Health Sciences Centre – Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre or Palliative Care. Cremation London & Middlesex entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences accepted at www.cremationlondon.com

I am so deeply sorry for your loss; no one can truly understand the pain of what you are going through. I want you to know that you are not alone. In these incredibly difficult times, I wish with all my heart that I could give you a little of the strength and love you need. I will always remember Darrel with great affection and cherish the beautiful moments and memories we shared.
I send you a heartfelt embrace. My deepest condolences to you and your entire family.
Darrell I will always remember the goofy times we had together. I loved your sarcasm, quick wit and devious humor. You will be missed my friend but never forgotten.
It is hard and it will be difficult to eventually accept your passing, for all who loved you, understood you and so enjoyed being around you.
On a personal level I was very very lucky to have you in my corner and on my side. I don’t think people could see the amount of comfort and support you gave me whenever I felt grief sadness or lost. You were a great brother-in-law and a great friend. A friend I will never forget . You will always be in my thoughts and I hope Adam and Nancy know I’ll always stand beside them. Till we meet again.
Uncle Darrell, thank you for all the laughs, your dry humor and for being Aunt Nancy’s person for all the years. Thank you for the love you’ve given me and your great grand nephews and being so incredibly easy to love back. While it breaks my heart that I didn’t get to say goodbye, I’m so glad you were surrounded by the people that meant the most. We will miss you endlessly. Xoxo
