SHORT, Brian Edward “Snoopy”…
Peacefully after a long battle with Vascular Dementia at Oneida LTC on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at the age of 73. Brian is survived by his beloved wife Liz Dzsudszak-Short of London, his daughters Joanne (Mark) of Golden Lake, Arlene (Chris) of London, Tania (Steve) of Brampton, and stepson Jason of London. Caring grandfather to Alexandra, Cameron, Brady, Dana, Micah, Nathan, Jayden, Benjamin, Phoenix, and great-grandfather to Kevin and Evelyn. Dear brother of Gerry, Janet, Robert and Earl. Predeceased by his parents Samuel and Mary Ellen Short (nee Bennett), wife Madonna (St. Croix) (1989), sisters Joan Woodfine and Helen Stansbury, and brother Paul Short. He will be deeply missed by his family and all that knew him. Brian’s wishes will be honoured and cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. i remember when i first met Brian at wilsons truck lines .back in the early 80″s .yup 40 some years ago .my name is Brian as well and im was a little shorter than him so when he used to introduce use he use to say .this is short Brian and i”am Brian Short .lol .we used to truck as a team there was Brian .mike Thompson Harold Butt Dan Porter Al Wassell and a couple other”s running Beer up threw the north country to the MANATOBA Boarder .and now that i think back at it all it turn out they were some of the best times of my live .and it is do to the great bunch of guys i ever truck with .and if you had any problem with your truck Brian was always there to the rescue .we could all count on him .he will be dearly missed by all of use .our Condolence to the family

I am so sorry for your loss my mother loved Brian and I remember the stories she shared with me. I also had an opportunity to meet he was always kind to me a d his snoopy collection was amazing. Prayers be with you all.

I remember Brian well. He was one of the first drivers at Wilsons who took the time to show me the “ropes”. In the early ’80s, I was hauling “A-trains” , loaded with nickle and or copper from Sudbury, or talc from Timmins. Brian helped me hook up my trains several times. I didn’t need help but i’m sure Brian helped just to be sure that I did it Right before heading out. Thank’s again Bri. R.I.P my old friend. Dave
Brian was a good man . Shared many laughs in Garage at Wilson Truck Lines as he was my foreman. My condolences to his family. RIP!
