Sue and Family….Our deepest sympathy to you and your family…We all know that Don was a great family man and he will be missed so much by a lot of people who loved him..Cherish the memories Sue…and know that we are thinking and praying for you all at this sad time…
Rest in peace Don
I first met Don in his most extreme “accessorized with rings, watches and various pocketknives” era. I must admit it gave me entirely the wrong opinion of what he was really like. I soon figured out that he was one of the nicest people I had ever met with great kindness, a sense of humor, and a guy who really enjoyed the fun with his wife’s family (of which I am one) at family gatherings. You were a lucky woman to have found him Sue. I know you will miss him and I certainly will miss him too. My condolences to you and everyone else who loved him. He gave us lots of really happy memories for all of us to remember.
My sympathies through this difficult time. Don was a great guy. RIP My cousin.
Rest In Peace my older brother! I am going to miss you a lot. You were always there for me in good and bad times! I have many memories that I will cherish forever! I know that you are with mom and dad and having a grand time catching up! The three of you will now be watching over the rest of us! Rest In Peace Will never forget you! Your sister Lee love ❤️

Sue – we were so very sorry to learn of Don’s passing. I think back of the times we shared – as kids with our fathers at the annual 24th of May event as well as many other week-ends at my father’s cabin to your visit here with family and Don’s help with the netting over the cherry trees to all activities associated to my folks’ 50th Anniversary.. Never did learn if he got his putter back. Know that you are in our thoughts and our prayers at this time.
Kim & Barb Gunn (cousin)
Sue and Family, we are saddened to hear about your loss of Don. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.
Our thoughts are with you all!❤
Sincerely, Mark and Kori
Sue and family. Most sincere sympathies to all at this time. I, like Kim above have many memories to reflect on – May 24th and lots of laughs at the lake, working Thanksgivings doing siding, painting, and insulating the cabin. Trips to London and M&D`s 50th Anniversary celebration (which Don was an integral part), all of his videos and especially the pride he took in his leatherwork. And of course your family trip west and the `mosquito badge` on the back deck of the Logan Lake house – so many great times together. He will be missed without a doubt – but will always hold a special place. I take comfort in knowing that he is looking down on us and has reunited with others we hold dear. Hugs from BC – Cousin Randi (Gunn) Purfield.
Sue, it as wonderful connecting again with Don and you with our visit at Blair and Alison’s a few years ago and then with our Cousin luncheons. We had been close to Don but as with all things, family, moving and changes in our life we lost close contact with him. He was a special person and Tom has many memories of him when they were young lads. Our hearts go our to you and the Children for this loss in your life. I believe our loved ones who have passed are still with us and watching over us. God bless you all. Hugs and Love from Tom and Lynn
