Donna White
Obituary
Donna Ruth White (née Hodgson)
April 9, 1950 – October 25, 2025
Peacefully, with her children and grandchildren by her side, Donna passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Oakcrossing LTC in London, Ontario, in her 76th year.
Born and raised in Wheatley, Donna was the beloved daughter of the late Frederick and Evelyn (Hickson) Hodgson. Donna was the proud mother of Dale (Tara) and Lee-Al, loving grandmother to Mya, Emma, Brody, Alex, Syd (Paige), and Keiauna, and adoring great-grandmother to Evelyn. She is survived by her siblings Bruce (Evelyn), Jean (Don), and Doris (Don), and predeceased by her brother Bob (Darlyne). She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Donna loved her pets, muffins, and a good thrift store find, her outfits were always one of a kind. She faced life with grit, grace, and a commical, mischievous sparkle that never faded.
The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful staff at Oakcrossing LTC for the care and support shown to Donna and themselves throughout her time with them.
Cremation has taken place. Immediate family and close friends are welcome to attend a graveside service and prayer at Erieview Cemetery in Wheatley, Ontario, on Thursday, November 6th, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. Following the service, there will be a private time of fellowship from 2:00–4:00 p.m. at the Village Resource Centre, 108 Talbot Rd E in Wheatley for immediate family and close friends wishing to gather and share memories of Donna. In honour of Donna’s vibrant spirit, those attending are welcome to wear her favourite colours, lime green and purple.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in Donna’s memory may be made to the The Village Resource Centre.

So sorry for your loss. Thinking of you all during this difficult time. Lee-Al I am glad we became friends in high school and were neighbours. I remember your mom made great lemon meringue pies and was always well done up with full make up and outfits daily. She was always so nice to me.
So sorry to hear of Donna’s passing, always enjoyed a good visit with her, which always included a good laugh, usually at Donna’s expense. Fond memories!! Dale & Leaelle, my thoughts & prayers are with you and may your wonderful memories of your Mom help you through this difficult time. R.I.P Donna

I first met Donna when we lived on Bayview Place in 2014. She was backing her car out of her driveway and backed into our vehicle ! We became friends immediately and I always enjoyed her sense of humour. We loved hanging out on the deck at the beach. We discovered that we had previously met as we both worked for TD Bank !
Sending Big Hugs and lots of Love to the Family.

Please know we were with you in our hearts today. You honoured your mom’s wishes & l am sure even though she wasn’t physically present she knows.
You as a family honoured her legacy. Now you can celebrate that she got her wish to reunite with her mother & father & others that she had lost.
