Doreen was an energetic and vibrant woman who enjoyed meeting people in their businesses of the Star Motel on Hwy 401/4, One Main Street in Delaware, and Skin Sense in London. She also was an avid curler with the London Curling Club. Enjoyed playing bridge and always hoped for that hole in one in golf.

Sending sincere condolences at this sad time. Doreen was a special friend to my late wife Hazel Telfer. They enjoyed many hours of bridge. Doreen always had a special smile.
Sending condolences to the family and friends of Doreen Gartley, and wishing you blessings in the days ahead. Rev. Annie Jannaway, Minister of Pastoral Care, First-St. Andrew’s United Church, London
On behalf of the Membership and Nurture team at First-St.Andrew’s United Church I wanted to express my sympathy to Doreen’s family. I had the privilege of visiting her at Mt Hope and although the last few years were clearly hard ones I remember her being able to somehow express her appreciation for the visit. We will miss her.
We were so sorry to hear of Your Mom’s passing. My Mom and Dad Evelyn and John spent a lot of time with both Your Mom and Dad. Len ran the gas service
station for Your Dad at the Star Motel and to this day I remember helping out at
the Motel. You had a Great Mother, Mother-in-law, Grandma and Great Grandma.
Heartfelt condolences on Doreen’s passing. Doreen was a wonderful friend and I have many fond and happy memories of our times together. She loved her family and talked of them fondly. I miss her friendship and am glad she is at peace now.
I am very sorry to hear of Doreen’s passing. She was a wonderful friend and she did my nails for years, years ago! We spent many fond hours visiting on Richmond Street after hours when we had our shop near hers. She was also great fun curling.
So Very sorry to hear of our beloved Doreen’s passing. Just found out now . Doreen and Doug were more than just friends to the MacLean family. We spent many wonderful summer vacations with them. Uncle Doug and Aunt Doreen were the most kind, loving generous people they have and will be missed always. All of us were so very sad to have lost contact with
Doreen and tried for years to find out were Aunt Doreen had been moved to. We always stayed in touch with cards, phone call or a visit when we were in London. The last time we saw Aunt Doreen was at my youngest brothers funeral. She was as gorgeous and vibrant as ever. Love you always Aunt Doreen and Uncle Doug, always in our hearts.
