He was always ready with a joke
Dear Glen family,
I am saddened to hear of your loss. I have such fond memories of Eddie’s kindness and infectious sense of humour. He was so welcoming and made you feel at home. Knowing Eddie made you a kinder person by association. We will forever speak fondly of Eddie Glen in our home.
Sleep well Uncle Eddie and Thank You.
you were a man to look up too and I did often in my younger years, which I have never forgot. likewise I have mentioned the fact to others.
Rejoice in the Grace of your Saviour and the reunion of some of your own.
God’s Love & Mercy your forever glory. Amen.
Spent many hours singing with Eddie in Cantorion Choir. He was always a gentleman and a pleasure to share a song with. He had a great sense of fun and was always a delight to share time with.
To the Glen family, very sorry to hear of Eddie passing away. Him and your Mum were great company, spent many a night at dances with them, your Dad was a good dancer. He also was the life and soul at a house party with his good singing voice. They are both together now and will keep dancing.
Rest In Peace Mr Glen! Sending hugs to the entire family.
Spent some time on Lundy Lane in highschool. Great memories.
Cherish the memories
I grew up friends with Eddie’s son Andrew in the 80’s. Friends with Andrew meant I was friends with the whole family, especially Eddie and Nan. Both were so kind and caring people who actually took time to talk with a teenager!!! And could Eddie and his family ever sing!! I loved going to their family Christmas parties just to hear them sing!!!!
