Dearest Sigrid, Kate and Erin, we are keeping you in our hearts and thoughts at this time. John had a joy for life and was always at the ready with a helping hand. The impact of his generosity will live on through the scuba divers he trained, the sailors he shared the race course with, the programmers he worked with and most importantly through the acts of his loving family. We cherish our times together with many laughs, and glasses raised. Love, C&R
Our sincerest condolences to John’s family at this difficult time. We knew John from working with him at Tandem computers. Our days at Tandem and the people that we spent them with are some of our most treasured memories and John will always be a part of that. We will remember his quick wit and dry sense of humor in particular. We are very sad to lose another from our Tandem family.

My heart breaks for you Sigrid. John was a very special guy. I hold you and Kate and Erin in my thoughts with comfort, peace and love.
So sorry for your loss Sigrid. I have so many great memories of John. His slow easy smile. The twinkle in his eye (and I swear there was actually a twinkle) in a sidelong glance because he’d just thought of something scandalous. And his infectious laugh or sometime just chuckle that would get everyone involved. I will miss him even though I haven’t seen him in a while. I will not forget him. Take care. Sandy and Lara
Sigrid, I am sad find out that John has passed away.
John was my manager at ACI Worldwide when I worked there. He showed me his time management tip that I use today. He was a good man that will be missed.
May the fond memories of John comfort your heart.
Sig, so sorry to hear of this sad news, as guys it was great chewing the fat with John every time we got together and it was not always guys stuff but family stuff as well, comforting ourselves in our young family, married life, career prospects back in the 80’s,
Definitely raising a single malt scotch with him and a glass of wine with Jan.
Elan, Etienne and myself send our thoughts and prayers to you Kate and Erin.
Looking forward to getting back to TO and looking over the many memorable photos.
Dear Sigrid,
We’re so sad to hear about John’s sudden passing. So sorry for your loss.
We fondly remember our long history together, playing underwater hockey and being at the Nationals. Victor remembers scuba diving with both you and John.
