Kenneth “Ken” Bradley
Obituary
BRADLEY, Kenneth ‘Ken’ Frederick
Peacefully on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Parkwood Institute, London, Ken passed away in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (2006). Loving father of Kim ‘Maggie’. Ken served in the military from January 1948 to April 1974. In his semi retirement he worked in Toronto as an operations and property manager of significant commercial developments. The family bought a cottage in the Goderich area and worked to renovate it for their retirement. Ken appreciated nature and enjoyed his visits to northern Canada. He was a passionate Toronto Blue Jays and Montreal Canadians fan. Ken was a supporter of continuous learning and a mentor when called upon. Ken always had a twinkle in his eye. His spark remained despite all his battles. He will be missed by all who knew him. Thank you to Parkwood Veterans Care Program and staff for all they do to enhance the lives of those living in Parkwood. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Ken may be made to The War Amps, The Kidney Foundation of Canada, Veterans Care Program via St. Joseph’s Health Foundation, or your local Legion. Arrangements entrusted with Cremation London & Middlesex, 519-858-2467. Online condolences shared at www.cremationlondon.com
Maggie, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. He was such an amazing man, funny, very polite and a big jokester. I remember the day he came to our place, he didn’t know me from Adam he was telling some jokes to which I replied and we would both be laught. That admission took longer than it should have but that was alright. After all the paperwork and joking he said to me “I think we are going yo get along just fine” and we did. I have fond memories of ur dad as I’m sure you do as well. Maggie sending you my condolences along with a big hug.
We’re so sorry Maggie to hear of your dad’s passing. He was quite the character, always a joke or clever comment. We will miss seeing you both on our Sunday visits. I also know Ian’s dad will especially miss your dad, he often spoke about him and how much he enjoyed his company. We are thinking of you Maggie and wish you peace and comfort in the days ahead.

Maggie it was such a honor and a pleasure caring for your dad here at Parkwood Veteran’s care. He always had such a great sense of humor and his strength was all inspiring! I always looked forward to seeing him on Monday’s as I was the keeper of the “banana’s” and he always looked forward to them! I know he is having all the coffee and bananas he wants now and likely loving them. Take care we are all thinking of you and already miss him here!
