PETERSEN, Leslie
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Leslie “Les” Petersen peacefully at the age of 73, at the London Health Sciences Centre-Victoria Hospital on June 12, 2026.
Loving brother to Ted (Lynda), Fin (Diane) and Dennis (Gina). Special Uncle to Allan, Shane, Victoria (Craig), Chris (Luba) and James (Tracy).
Will be lovingly remembered by his children Holly (Mike), Anthony, and Cherry. Cherished Grandpa to Kaine, Brittney, Brooklyn, Scott, Noah, Sydney, Cooper, Mathew, Owen. Special cousin to Joergen.
Les had a passion for his rock and roll records, found joy in gardening, and loved riding his BMW motorcycle.
Those who received a birthday card from Les will remember that he never failed to conclude it with an important message: “Never stop learning.” It was a sentiment that guided him throughout his life and remains a lasting gift to all who knew and loved him.

We are so sorry for the family, and our neighbourhood’s, loss.
Les was an amazing neighbour and a kind and friendly gentleman. He always kept an eye out for the neighbourhood kids and saved our son from a risky situation a couple of years ago.
We will miss seeing him out on walks and chatting with him, and hope that his family can find peace in their memories and in knowing he is no longer suffering.
