Qais Alwasiti
Obituary
ALWASITI, Qais…
Dr. Qais Alwasiti passed away peacefully in London, Ontario with his son by his side on Friday, March 14th, 2025 in his 74th year. Beloved father of Ali (Kaylie MacIntosh) Alwasiti. Dear brother of Nidhal (Rick) and Ali.
Qais was a man who appreciated the finer things in life and shared them generously with those around him. He had a deep love for photography, a keen interest in business improvement, and a habit of staying informed through the news. In his younger years, he was passionate about cars, and later in life, he enjoyed traveling, fine food, watches, and his time at the hunting club. He was known for always having a box of chocolates to share, especially with his nurses, who adored him for his kindness. Above all, Qais was a devoted family man who cherished his time with Ali, Kaylie and their dog Abee. He never hesitated to support and spoil those he cared for. He will be dearly missed.
The family would like to thank the staff at Glendale Crossing and Victoria Hospital for their compassionate care of Qais.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral services. Donations in memory of Qais may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Diabetes Canada or the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Arrangements entrusted with Cremation London & Middlesex, 519-858-2467. Online condolences shared at www.cremationlondon.com
Qais was my older brother. He had a very good life, finish his degree in England. GOD bless him with his son Ali. He passed away in a peaceful way and he is in place with no harm and no pain, may God bless his soul 🙏 ♥️
Although we only met Qais a couple of times he always greeted us with a big smile. He always made sure Ali gave us some sort of chocolates or gift at Christmas time. He was very generous that way.
He will be deeply missed by All and Kaylie. May you rest in peace Qais.♥️🎈
I am forever greatful for the way he accepted me as his family. He always made sure I had anything I needed, that I was happy, and that Ali was treating me well. Qais, it has been an honour to be your daughter, care taker and friend. And while we may not have understood each other all the time, we always understood the important things. Im going to miss your sense of humor (especially when you would poke your tongue out at me 😜), your care and thoughtfulness, and the joy and laughter you brought to your friends. I will miss the long chats we would have when it was just the two of us. I will hold my promise to care for Ali to ensure he has a full and happy life, and I know that is something you’ve trusted me with for a while now. I miss you Dad, and I know you have the peace and freedom that youve earned. God is with you.
