Serge Letendre
Obituary
Letendre, Serge
With serenity on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Parkwood Hospital, London, Serge passed away at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Francine. Loving father of Robbie (Marjorie), Karyn (Albert), Lee, and Marc (Gina). Cherished grandfather of Brock, Madelynn, and Joely. Dear brother of the late Agenor (Huguette), Pierrette (Gilles), the late Murielle (the late Albert), Jacqueline (Yves), and Jacques (Doreen). Predeceased by his parents Elzear and Angele Letendre. Serge will be lovingly remembered by his extended family, in laws and many friends.
He battled with courage and strength, facing every challenge with determination, positivity and grace. He fought a fierce fight – never giving up. Serge was deeply driven and took great pride in his work with Hydro One, and valued the friendships he built with his colleagues, who became like a second family.
Serge loved being outdoors and was always busy fixing or tinkering with something—never one to sit still for long. He appreciated the simple joys in life: good food, good company, and time spent with those he loved. At home, he found happiness surrounded by his family, his grandchildren, and his loyal companions, Ralph the dog and Cowy the cow.
Serge’s strength, warmth, and zest for life touched everyone who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to share in his journey.
Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Serge may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Online condolences shared at www.cremationlondon.com.

We are heart broken to hear of Serge’s passing. His infectious laugh is always with us. You couldn’t ask for a better friend. Our memories of him over the years will always bring a smile. As you and your family journey through life, he will always be walking beside you.
Serge was an incredible man! I had the privaledge of getting to know him through my husband, James, who was a friend and coworker. He stayed with us at times while they worked on the road. We laughed and shared lots of stories. His smile always brightened the room. He was like family and he will always hold a special place in our hearts. You will be missed very much Serge! Our deepest sympathy to his wife, Francine and family (who also welcomed James into their home). Gone but never forgotten!
Sending my condolences to all the family. I knew Serge in our younger days when his family came to Northbrook, Ont to work at the saw mill. Rest in peace Serge
My deepest condolences to the Letendre family.
Serge was one of a kind a pure-hearted man who meant the world to me. I felt truly honoured to call him a friend. Listening to his endless stories was always something special that I will hold close to my heart. His patience when working on equipment and teaching me things was unlike any other. His love for his family, and for all his animals, was unmatched.
He will be deeply missed, and I will never forget him
Serge it was an absolute pleasure working with you over the years. Having the privilege to not only be on the same crew but spending time rooming together. I appreciate the advice and helping hand you always offered on and off work.
I’ll always remember your stories of past and how you would remember the dates and times with such vivid details! My condolences to the entire family and thank you to Serge’ sons for always helping us with machine and truck problems or fixes.
