Sylvia Morgan
Obituary
MORGAN, Sylvia Lynn…
It is with the most unimaginable sadness that we must announce the death of Sylvia Lynn Morgan (nee Tourond) at the age of 59. On Friday, August 2nd, 2024, Sylvia passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in her home, due to health complications.
Beloved daughter of June Tourond and her recently deceased father, Larry Tourond (2024). Cherished and protective big sister to Lesa and Jennifer; adored aunt of Jaxson; dearly missed by her devoted partner Bob; and her many wonderful “sister-friends”. Treasured niece of Darlene (John) McCarthy, Christina (Wayne) Curtis, and her many loved cousins. Predeceased by her loving aunts, Pat, Lee and Sheila, and her cousin Brian.
Sylvia was a radiant presence in the lives of her family and friends. She brought joy and inspiration to all who knew her. Her beauty was not just in her appearance, but also in her generous spirit and deeply compassionate heart.
She was always eager to advocate for others or to make people smile with her incredible sense of humour. We’ll always remember her unique laugh. Sylvia’s bravery and tenacity in the face of any challenge was admirable.
Those she encountered benefited from Sylvia’s enthusiasm, her considerable thoughtfulness and her extraordinary intellect. Sylvia was truly one of a kind who embodies too many wonderful qualities to describe. Her absence will always be a huge missing piece in many people’s lives.
Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to a service in Sylvia’s honour on Monday, August 19th, 2024 at 1:30pm at St. James Westminster Church, 115 Askin Street, London, Ontario.Following the service, a celebration of Sylvia’s life will take place from 3-7pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, 311 Oakland Avenue, London, Ontario, where we will celebrate our beautiful Sylvia with stories, memories and pictures. Donations in memory of Sylvia may be made to the Humane Society London & Middlesex or Animalert. Online condolences shared at www.cremationlondon.com
It is hard to believe my beautiful niece has passed away. The last evening we spent with her was a joyous one. We told stories and she laughed all night. She will never be forgotten for we all loved her dearly. My heart goes out to her mother June, her sisters, Lesa, and Jenn And of course, her nephew Jaxson. And to Bob Who I’m sure is missing her terribly as well. I believe we will see her again and spend eternity with her for she was a follower of Jesus. Sylvia , we love you forever and always. ❣️❤️
Words aren’t enough to say how sorry we are on Sylvia’s sudden loss. Praying for you all and sending love to you Jenn, and family at this time!
