Tina Nixon (Matthews)
Obituary
In Loving Memory of Tina Marie Nixon (Matthews)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Marie Nixon (Matthews), who passed away peacefully at her home in Dutton Ontario surrounded by her family; September 14, 2026, at the age of 33.
She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece and friend whose presence
brought laughter, love, and life to those around her.
Tina’s greatest love was her family. She treasured the time spent with the people closest to her and created memories that will be cherished forever. She also had a love for Camp Henry, travelling, experiencing new places, and making memories along the way. Tina
never turned down a good party and knew how to have fun, laugh, and enjoy the moment.
She also had a special talent for enjoying the kind of “trashy TV” that could keep her entertained for hours, and laughing at her own jokes.
Tina will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Wilson Nixon; her mother, Lynn Caswell (Shane); her siblings, Jasmine (Ryan), Brandon (Lorriane), and Samantha (Samuel); her grandfather, Ron Matthews (Eileen); her nephews and niece, Louie, Ellie,
and Cameron; and her in-laws, Lisa and Derek Nixon, along with her brothers-in-law, Aric (Taylor) and Max (Raquel). And other loving family members and many friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Charles Ruzima, Step-father Edward Neely and her Grand-mother Fleurette Matthews.
Celebration of life will be held at Bellamere (1260 Gainsborough Rd) from 5-8pm on Wednesday, September 23rd.
In lieu of flowers donations to Liver Canada are greatly appreciated.
Tina leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, adventures, and love. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Forever loved, forever remembered, and never forgotten.
